ASK Aroma began as a question inside a larger business. ASK Exim India, the export house behind it, spends most of its time moving goods across borders — produce, safety footwear, raw materials. Candles were never the obvious next step. But somewhere in that work, the idea of making one object well, instead of many objects quickly, felt worth pursuing on its own.
The name and the shape both come from the same place: Trataka, the old practice of steadying the mind by fixing the gaze on a single flame. We're not a wellness brand, and we don't dress the candles up in imagery to make that point. We just kept the idea simple — one jar, one colour, one flame — and let the object do the explaining.
Every jar in the collection is hand-poured in small batches. The colourways are chosen the way a room is furnished: not as a trend, but as something that should still feel right in a year. That's the whole brief, really. Nothing to read, nothing to decode. Just something to light.
